NEW RV's at FAME RV
FAME RV center pride’s itself in selling quality RV’s. We select our manufactures very carefully with our customers in mind. There are several factors to consider when looking for an RV. First, what type are you looking for? One to travel with or one to set permanent? Do you want fiberglass exterior or the aluminum exterior? What can your vehicle tow? What price range would you like to stay within? There are many items to consider when purchasing an RV. Here are a few of the differences between each product:
Travel trailer: bumper pull requires weight distributing bars, and optional sway control. Layouts are designed with slide-outs or w/out. Gross weights start at suv compatible and go up to 1 tons.
5th wheel: requires a 5th wheel hitch mounted in back of your truck. Most 5th wheels require a ¾ ton to 1 ton tow vehicle. 5th wheels are considered the “kings” of the road because of the ease of towing.
Park model: 12 wide park model has vinyl siding, shingled roof, all household appliances. Most do not have holding tanks but can be ordered with holding tanks. Must be delivered and parked.
Hybrid trailer: extreme lightweight travel trailers where the bed ends go out like a tent camper. Towable with most suv’s and small trucks.
Tent camper: also known as “pop-ups”. They can be towed with just about anything. Great start up camper and have a high resale value.
